South West Sports Centre

Owned and operated by the City of Bunbury, the $12.6 million South West Sports Centre is the premier leisure facility of WA’s south west region.


The Sports Centre offers a wide range of programs to suit everyone's needs including programs specially developed for people who have never exercised or who are returning to exercise. 


Programs and services include Little Lappers Swim School for babies, children and adults, lap and recreational swimming, giant waterslide and rapid river, Aqua Fitness Classes, spa, sauna and steam room, swim squads and clubs, health club, Personal Training, Group Fitness Classes, netball, squash, crèche and café.

 

 

Healthy Inspirations

Healthy Inspirations’ program focuses on nutrition, one-on-one support, exercise and relaxation. The Healthy Inspirations program focuses individualised eating plans, one-on-one support through monitoring, coaching and follow up consultations, exercise and relaxation. Curves

Curves Bunbury is a women’s fitness and weight loss centre that caters specifically to fitness and weight loss needs of women living and working close to the Bunbury area. Located on Hennessey Road and contactable on 9721 3114 Curves offers machines specially designed for women and allows you to get a complete aerobic and strength training workout in just 30 minutes. The system is built around easy-to-learn hydraulic resistance machines, so there are no weight stacks to change or manage.

 

 

Leschenault Leisure Centre

The Leschenault Leisure Centre was opened in 1983 as a community hall and squash centre. In 1994, three indoor multi purpose courts, kiosk, gymnasium and office area were added to the community based centre. In May 2001, the centre opened their $1.2 million Aquatic centre, Aqua Cafe and new reception area to complete the community recreation centre. This saw the development and subsequent growth of the Leschenault Swim School.

 

The Centre offers a comprehensive range of swimming programs to cater for all ages and abilities including a swim school, a 25m eight lane indoor heated lap pool, contoured leisure pool, spa & steam room, aquatic café, gymnasium, aqua aerobics, crèche, climbing wall and junior programs.

 

The Exercise Club

The Exercise Club offers machine weights, cardio equipment, gym equipment, Les Mills Classes including Body Pump, Body Combat and Body Step, fitball classes and aerobics classes. The Club is located on Mummery Crescent and can be contacted on 9791 5551.

 

 

Zenith Health and Fitness Club

This fully equipped spacious gym is supervised at all times and offers both weight loss programs and personal training. Zenith is located at 49 Spencer Street, Bunbury and can be contacted on 9721 1442.
