Dr Bu O’Brien was born in Malaysia and educated in England before studying medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland in Dublin. She completed her postgraduate work in Scotland, Ireland and Birmingham.

Having moved to Bunbury in August 2008, she is currently practicing at Central Medical Practice where she loves being a GP with all its different challenges and the privilege of playing a part in the lives of families. ‘Life is about health and happiness and as GPs we are fortunate to be able to help people with both!’ says Dr O’Brien.

Dr O’Brien is married to an Irishman, Kieran and loves spending time with him and their 3 children.
